5^th Regular Meeting of Myanmar Financial Sector Development Project

(MFSDP) Steering Committee held

1.       5^th Meeting on implementation of Myanmar Financial Sector Development Project

led by U Maung Maung Win, Deputy Minister of Planning and Finance,

Chairman of Financial Sector Development Project was held at Building No.(26),

Ministry of Planning and Finance in the Meeting Room at 3:00 pm on 14^th November 2018.

2.       At the meeting, Daw Than Than Swe, Director General of Central Bank of Myanmar,

U Zaw Naing, Director General of the Financial Regulatory Department, the Secretary of

Myanmar Financial Sector Development Project Steering Committee, General Managers and

Deputy General Managers from (4) State-owned Banks, Directors from CBM, General Manager of

Myanmar Insurance, and the officials and staff from Financial Regulatory Department attended,

a total of (28) attendees.

3.       The achievement and forward plans of MFSDP were discussed. Deputy Minister,

Chairman of Steering Committee, and Director General of the Financial Regulatory Department,

the secretary of Steering Committee answered and explained the questions from (4) state-owned banks and

Myanmar Insurance. The meeting was concluded at 4:30 pm.
