The Kayah State Investment Committee (KIC) meeting (8/2018) was convened in Kayah State Government Office on 26^th September, 2018 and reviewed investment Endorsements consistent with the Myanmar Investment Law.

U L Phaung Sho, Chairman of KIC and Chief Minister for Kayah State, and members of KIC; State Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation; U Khin Maung Win, Secretary for Kayah State Government Office; U Zaw Htun Aung, State Official for Department of Environmental Protection; and Dr. Than Aye, Director for Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the submission of (3) endorsement applications from investors were approved the issue endorsements.

The Kayah State Investment Committee had already approved 10 businesses with the total pledge amount of US$ 3.181943 million and kyat 11.25 billion since KIC was organized. Those approved 10 businesses are expected to create 386 local job opportunities.
