The Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony between the Office of Insurance Commission,
Thailand and Financial Regulatory Department of Ministry of Planning and Finance of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar was held at 8:30am,
30th of January,2018 in Hilton Hotel,Nay Pyi Taw.U Maung Maung Win,Deputy Minister, MoPF, all members of Insurance Business and Regulatory Board,
U Zaw Naing, Director General of Financial Regulatory Department, Dr Sandar Oo, Managing Director of Myanma Insurance,U Thaung Han,
Secretary of Myanmar Insurance Asso- ciation(MIA) and the responsible persons from private insurance companies,
Myanmar and Dr.Suthiphon Thaveechaiyagarn and the responsible persons of these organization such as OIC,
Muang Thai Insurance Public Company Limited, Thai Life Insurance Public Company Limited from Thailand attended that Signing Ceremony.
The MoU have these purposes, providing for technical assistance, the exchange of information and the capacity building
for employee for insurance regulatory between these two countries.
