Myanmar Insight 2018 was held on 20^th   July, 2018 at Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand for the auspicious occasion of the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of Thailand-Myanmar diplomatic relations to strengthen bilateral trade and promote investment between Myanmar and Thailand.

          The Myanmar delegation was led by H.E. U Thaung Tun, Chairman of Myanmar Investment Commission, Union Minister for Ministry of the Office of the Union Government and H.E. U Ohn Maung, Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism.  

          At the seminar, H.E. Mr. Jukr Boon-Long, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, delivered the welcome remarks and then H.E. Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Thailand gave the opening remarks and H.E. U Thaung Tun, Union Minister for Ministry of the Office of the Union Government delivered the keynote address respectively.

        During the seminar, H.E. U Ohn Maung, Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism, Ministry of Planning and Finance U Set Aung, Deputy Minister and  U Aung Naing Oo, Secretary of Myanmar Investment Commission participated in panel discussions on investment opportunities in Myanmar, potentials for tourism, electricity and energy and trade sectors respectively and the seminar was attended by over (600) businessmen from Myanmar and Thailand.
