Nay Pyi Taw Council Child Labor Census Working Committee for Child Labor Survey (2020-2021) for Food Production and Retail and Wholesale (Automotive and Motorcycle Repair Sector) The training ceremony for township supervisors and enumerators was held at 10 am today at the Community Center Hall of the Information and Public Relations Department, Dakkhina District Office.

    First, Deputy Director-General of the Central Statistical Organization U Than Zaw said that the role of youth and children in development is very important in shaping the future image of a country, so youth and children are invaluable resources of the country. It is necessary to pay attention to the physical and mental development of children and intellectual development. The National Action Plan for the Elimination of Child Labor in Myanmar is divided into two short-term and long-term plans: three short-term five-year plans and three long-term 15-year plans. Education and capacity building; Creating educational and vocational opportunities; Strengthening legislative drafting and implementation; Education and capacity building; Creating educational and vocational opportunities; Strengthening legislative drafting and implementation; Removal and rehabilitation of child laborers in the worst forms; He said that the aim is to create better career opportunities for families. He said that it will be carried out with six goals.
    Then, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Kyaw Thein Saing, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Committee on the Elimination of Child Labor, gave a speech on training township supervisors and enumerators to conduct child labor survey (2020-2021).
    The training was attended by 28 township supervisors and enumerators trainees. The enumeration manual and group discussion will be taught for two days.
