The virtual coordinating meeting on strengthening accurate and high-quality assurance trade statistics was held at the Central Statistical Organization Office on 28 October 2021, led by U Than Zaw, Deputy Director General of the CSO. Thirteen statistical representatives from Department of Trade, Customs Department and relevant departments attended on the virtual meeting. Discussions in this meeting focused on the strengthening accurate and high-quality assurance data and addressed barriers to the compilation of trade statistics.
